Product Overview

The SKF NU 306 ECM uses cylindrical rollers and line contact between the rollers and raceways, giving it higher radial-load capacity than a similarly sized ball bearing. The machined brass cage is designed for strength and controlled roller guidance.

In the NU design, the outer ring has two integral flanges while the inner ring has no flanges. This allows axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing in both directions within the bearing, making it useful as the non-locating bearing in an arrangement.

NU 306 ECM is not an axial locating bearing. The complete machine layout must include another bearing or locating feature where shaft position has to be controlled.
