Copeland ZR61KC-TFD-522 scroll compressor supplied for the Peru replacement order.
A Peruvian customer needed a Copeland ZR61KC-TFD-522 scroll compressor for an air-conditioning replacement project. The purchase had to match the complete model, three-phase power supply and R22 system requirements before packing.
MAVORIX coordinated the supplier, recorded the actual compressor and label, checked the visible terminal and connection protection, and followed the outer-carton packing for dispatch to Peru.
Checking ZR61KC-TFD-522 instead of “5 HP compressor”
The supplier photo clearly shows the Copeland Scroll label and full ZR61KC-TFD-522 model. That exact reference was kept in the quotation and packing record.
Copeland's published ZR61KC-TFD model data lists:
| Item | Published reference |
|---|---|
| Compressor type | Hermetic scroll compressor |
| Application | Air conditioning |
| Nominal motor | 5 HP |
| Refrigerant reference | R22 / HCFC |
| Power supply | 380-420 V, 50 Hz, 3 phase |
| Capacity | 49,700 Btu/h / 14.566 kW at stated rating conditions |
| Input power | 4,430 W at stated rating conditions |
Recording the actual compressor before packing
The full product photo shows the terminal enclosure, copper suction and discharge connections, protective caps and four-point mounting base. The black shell and model label are clean and intact in the photographed areas.
This record is more useful than a generic catalog image because it connects the supplied unit to the ordered model. It still does not establish internal condition, winding resistance, oil condition or operating performance. Those checks require an agreed test scope and appropriate refrigeration procedures.
Connection and mounting review
A second angle records the top and side copper stubs and the mounting base. Both copper connections were fitted with protective caps before packing.
When an overseas buyer replaces a compressor, pipe position is only one part of the comparison. The technician should also confirm connection sizes, mounting-center distances, shell height, terminal arrangement and available cabinet space.
R22 compatibility and destination checks
The ZR61KC-TFD model reference is associated with R22 air-conditioning service. Refrigerant regulations and service availability vary by country and change over time. Before importing an R22 compressor, the buyer should confirm current Peruvian requirements and whether the existing system can legally and practically be maintained.
Changing refrigerant is not a label substitution. It may affect lubricant, expansion device, seals, controls, capacity and operating envelope. Any conversion should be engineered and commissioned by qualified HVAC personnel using approved technical guidance.
Packing the compressor for Peru
After the label and visible product condition were recorded, the compressor was packed in a reinforced outer carton. Multiple straps ran around the box to keep it closed and grouped during handling.
For international transport, a compressor should remain upright and restrained at the mounting base. Copper connections and the terminal box should not carry transport loads. The final packing choice should reflect compressor weight, route, consolidation plan and unloading method. A wooden outer case may be added when the shipment or surrounding cargo requires greater crush protection.
What buyers should send for a ZR61KC quotation
The most useful inquiry includes:
- Complete old-compressor label photo.
- Full ZR61KC model and final suffix.
- HVAC unit brand and model.
- Refrigerant and lubricant.
- Voltage, phase and frequency.
- Required duty and operating temperatures.
- Suction and discharge connection sizes and positions.
- Mounting footprint and cabinet limits.
- Required accessories and replacement scope.
- Quantity, destination and packing requirement.
How MAVORIX supports compressor sourcing
MAVORIX acts as an independent China-side sourcing and coordination partner. We can compare exact model references, request supplier documents, collect product and packing photos, and consolidate approved compressors with contactors, controls, sensors, valves or other HVAC spare parts.
We do not manufacture the compressor and do not claim authorized Copeland distribution without specific documentation. The buyer and qualified HVAC technician remain responsible for compatibility, refrigerant compliance, installation and commissioning.
Peruvian buyers can connect this work with our Peru sourcing support, electrical and mechanical parts sourcing, factory spare parts and export support services. Send the complete compressor label through the contact page.
