Automatic Strapping Machine Sourcing for Romania: Inspection and Wooden-Case Packing

This order involved an MS-505 automatic PP strapping machine sourced for the Romanian market. The purchasing file included the machine specification sheet, workshop photos taken before dispatch, warehouse intake records and wooden-case packing photos.

The purpose was not simply to find a machine described as “automatic.” The buyer needed a practical carton and package strapping machine with a defined arch opening, PP strap configuration, electrical supply and adjustable tension. Those details had to remain consistent from quotation through inspection photos and packing preparation.

What the Romanian buyer needed

The requirement was for an automatic arch strapping machine that could apply PP strap around cartons or other light, stable packages. The machine needed an operator-friendly working height, adjustable strap tension and a standard arch large enough for the buyer's expected package format.

For a Romania-bound machine, the commercial discussion also needed to cover the destination power supply, plug or connection arrangement, required conformity documents, spare parts, manuals and wooden-case packing. The current document specifies 220V, 50/60Hz, single phase. Final site requirements still need confirmation before a production order.

The selected machine was the MS-505. Its specification sheet lists a standard internal arch size of 650mm wide by 500mm high and a table height of 850mm.

Specifications checked against the supplied document

The following information came from the machine specification document provided with this sourcing file:

The maximum cycle rate should not be read as a guaranteed output for every package. Actual throughput depends on the arch, package dimensions, strap width, tension, cooling time, operator handling and selected operating mode.

On-site factory inspection

Before the machine entered the warehouse, MAVORIX arranged an on-site inspection at the supplier's factory. The inspector photographed the actual MS-505 prepared for this order and checked the complete arch, worktable, touch-screen control enclosure, emergency-stop button, foot-bar switch and side-mounted PP strap spool. The blue protective film was still in place on the table during the inspection.

The machine was powered on and operated during the visit. The inspection covered strap feeding, touch-screen operation, emergency-stop response, tension adjustment, heat sealing and repeated strapping cycles. The inspected unit completed the trial cycles normally, and the strap position and sealed joint were checked before the machine was released for warehouse intake and export packing.

What we checked before shipment

The inspection was carried out against the ordered machine configuration and the functions required for normal carton strapping. The on-site checks covered:

• Machine model and ordered arch opening.
• Power supply and electrical labeling.
• Touch-screen and emergency-stop response.
• Strap threading and automatic feeding.
• Manual, continuous and foot-switch cycle operation.
• Tension adjustment and strap holding condition.
• Strap position on the package.
• Heat seal appearance and joint consistency.
• Strap ejection or recovery after an empty cycle.
• Repeated trial cycles using a package on the worktable.
• Machine dimensions, accessories, manuals and spare parts against the packing list.

After the functional check, the machine configuration and visible condition were recorded in the workshop photos. The unit was then cleared for delivery to the warehouse, where the wooden-case condition and shipment label were checked before export preparation.

Warehouse intake and wooden-case packing

The machine was received into the warehouse in a full wooden case. We recorded both the overall condition of the case and the dedicated MAVORIX label identifying the contents as an automatic strapping machine. Keeping both views is useful: the full photo shows the actual packing condition, while the close-up makes the shipment identity readable.

The overall case photo also preserves a temporary warehouse handling card from an earlier movement. Because that card names a different item, the shipment identity was checked against the dedicated automatic-strapping-machine label shown beside it. This is exactly why warehouse photos should include both a full packing view and a readable close-up of the final product label.

For a 230kg gross shipment, the final wooden case should be checked for base support, blocking, moisture protection, machine anchoring and accessible handling points. The machine should not be able to roll or shift inside the case. Accessories, PP strap samples, manuals and loose parts should be identified and secured separately.

“Automatic box strapping machine” is not a complete RFQ. To compare suppliers accurately, buyers should send:

• Required straps per package and strap position.

• Destination, unloading method and packing requirement.
