XPS22/8 compressor system, air receiver and consolidated equipment positioned inside the export container for the UAE.
This project was not just an order for one air compressor. The UAE customer needed a complete compressed air system that could be installed as one coordinated package: an XPS22/8 permanent-magnet variable-speed rotary screw compressor, a refrigerated air dryer, three line filters and an air receiver.
MAVORIX followed the order from equipment selection and specification checking through production completion, protective packing, warehouse handling and final container loading. The photos in this case show that sequence as it happened, including the finished equipment before packing and the full system positioned inside the export container.
What the UAE customer needed
The customer wanted a practical industrial compressed air package rather than sourcing each component separately. That meant the compressor, dryer, filters, receiver and connecting requirements had to be considered as one system.
The selected compressor was the XPS22/8, a 22 kW permanent-magnet variable-frequency rotary screw compressor rated for 0.8 MPa discharge pressure. The system list also included an RSLF-36/SSD refrigerated air dryer, three filters with different model codes and a C-1/0.8 air receiver.
This type of package is commonly searched as a complete compressed air system, rotary screw air compressor package, air compressor with dryer and tank, or screw compressor dryer filter receiver set. Those phrases describe the same purchasing idea: the buyer needs usable compressed air at the factory, not only a compressor cabinet at the supplier's door.
Equipment included in the order
The supplied equipment schedule listed one unit of each item:
| Equipment | Model | Quantity | Role in the system |
|---|---|---|---|
| Permanent-magnet variable-speed rotary screw compressor | XPS22/8 | 1 | Generates compressed air and adjusts output across the documented flow range |
| Refrigerated air dryer | RSLF-36/SSD | 1 | Cools compressed air to remove condensed moisture before distribution |
| Line filter | RSG-AO-0058G | 1 | First filtration stage in the supplied package |
| Line filter | RSG-AA-0058G | 1 | Additional downstream filtration stage |
| Line filter | RSG-PF-0058G | 1 | Final listed filtration stage |

For a UAE installation, ambient heat and compressor-room ventilation deserve attention early in the project. The buyer should confirm the installation environment, power supply, cable and protection requirements, available cooling airflow, service clearance, condensate discharge and piping arrangement before commissioning.
Why a variable-speed screw compressor was selected
Many factories do not consume the same amount of compressed air every minute. Pneumatic tools start and stop, production lines change shifts, and different machines come online at different times. A variable-speed screw compressor can adjust motor speed to follow that changing demand instead of producing the same output continuously.
For this project, the documented 1.5-3.75 m3/min delivery range gave the customer a useful operating window. The final suitability still depends on a proper air-demand calculation, including average demand, peak demand, pressure losses, leakage allowance and future expansion.
Rotary screw compressors are commonly chosen for workshops and production environments that need a steady air supply over long operating periods. The point is not that every factory automatically needs a 22 kW compressor. The system needs to be sized around the customer's real air consumption and required working pressure.
Compressor design features shown in the supplied material
The supplier's feature sheets describe three main design areas: the screw air end, the motor and the direct-drive connection.
Screw air end
The supplied description refers to a large-diameter, low-speed rotor design and precision machining of the air end. In practical terms, the air end is the core section where the rotors compress the incoming air. Its geometry, manufacturing accuracy, lubrication and operating temperature all affect performance and service life.
Motor protection and insulation
The motor feature sheet states IP55 protection and Class F insulation. It also describes a high-balance motor intended for smooth running. These are useful specification points, but the final motor voltage, frequency and electrical connection must match the customer's UAE site.
Flexible-coupling direct drive
The illustrated layout connects the motor and air end through a flexible coupling rather than a gearbox. The supplier describes a split arrangement that allows the air end and motor to be serviced separately. For the buyer, the important points are alignment, coupling condition, access for maintenance and availability of the correct spare parts.
Completing the compressor and air receiver
Once production was complete, the compressor cabinet and the receiver were protected for warehouse movement. The compressor was wrapped in a plastic protective cover, while the cylindrical air receiver had additional surface wrapping around the body.
These are not catalog images. They record the actual equipment after production and before the shipment was assembled. That distinction matters in industrial sourcing because buyers want to see the units that will leave the factory, not only a polished product rendering.
Before release, a practical equipment check should cover the ordered model, nameplate data, cabinet condition, controller and emergency functions, running direction, pressure setting, abnormal noise or vibration, leakage, accessories and documentation. The exact inspection scope should be agreed before the test so the supplier and buyer are working from the same checklist.
Packing the refrigerated air dryer and accessories
The RSLF-36/SSD refrigerated air dryer was packed in a reinforced wooden case with metal edging and handling protection. The case label identifies it as a refrigeration air dryer and provides a direct link between the packed unit and the equipment schedule.
Packing components separately makes loading easier and reduces the risk of pipes, fittings or control panels being damaged by contact with heavier equipment. Filters, drains, manuals and loose accessories should be identified against the packing list and secured so they are easy to find during installation.
Why the dryer, filters and receiver matter
A compressor generates the airflow, but a usable compressed air station usually needs more than pressure alone.
The refrigerated dryer helps remove moisture that condenses as compressed air cools. The filters are selected to reduce contaminants at different stages, depending on their specified grades. The receiver provides storage and a buffer between compressor output and changing demand.
The correct sequence and sizing depend on the required air quality, ambient conditions and application. General workshop tools, painting, food processing, electronics and instrument air do not share the same purity requirements. The buyer should define the target pressure dew point, particulate level and oil content rather than ordering filters only by connection size.
Planning the container loading
The final stage was loading the equipment into the export container. The photos show the receiver, wooden cases and other consolidated industrial cargo positioned to use the available floor area while keeping heavy units supported.
The container also carried other industrial goods. They are described here as consolidated cargo, not as components of the compressed air system. Clear labels and a container loading record help the destination team distinguish each case during unloading.
Heavy equipment should be blocked and secured according to the final shipping plan. The loading team also needs to consider center of gravity, floor loading, contact between metal surfaces, protection of valves and fittings, forklift access and the order in which the customer plans to unload the container.
Information needed to quote a complete compressed air system
For an accurate quotation, overseas buyers should send more than a preferred motor size. Useful information includes:
- Required working pressure at the point of use.
- Average, minimum and peak air demand in m3/min or CFM.
- Daily operating hours and number of shifts.
- Current and future pneumatic equipment list.
- Site voltage, frequency and phase.
- Ambient temperature, humidity, dust and installation altitude.
- Indoor or outdoor installation conditions.
- Required pressure dew point and air-quality class.
- Allowable noise level.
- Receiver capacity and local pressure-vessel requirements.
- Piping size, layout and pressure-drop allowance.
- Required spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Destination, unloading equipment and shipping method.
How MAVORIX supports air compressor sourcing from China
MAVORIX works as the customer's China-side sourcing and coordination partner. For an industrial air compressor system, support can include requirement definition, supplier comparison, technical clarification, production follow-up, equipment photos, inspection coordination, packing checks, warehouse consolidation and container loading records.
For this UAE project, the value came from keeping the full chain connected. The model list was matched to the order, the finished compressor and receiver were recorded, the dryer was identified in its wooden case, and the complete shipment was followed into the container.
MAVORIX does not present itself as the manufacturer of the XPS22/8. The role is to help the overseas buyer organize the purchase, keep suppliers and logistics aligned, and make the shipment easier to verify before it leaves China.
Related support is available through industrial machinery sourcing, quality inspection, export support and industrial sourcing. UAE buyers can also review our China sourcing support for the UAE.
